This historic park was built in 1908 and features the Jimmie Rodgers Museum,
the Dentzel Antique Carousel, a swimming pool, duck pond, Frank Cochran Center,
Kendallwood Craft Center, four tennis courts, baseball and softball field, four
picnic pavilions,
state-of-the-art playground, restrooms, and the Parks and Recreation Administration
offices.

Location: Highway 39/Newell Road -7300 Newell Road
Acreage: Approximately 85 acres
Four lighted softball fields, three lighted soccer fields, multi-purpose two-story
building used for concessions, meetings, storage and houses the restrooms,
500-car parking area, asphalt walking and running track, small building also
used for
concessions and houses restroom, and one large picnic pavilion.
Ten lighted courts, club house with showers, on-duty tennis pro.
The tennis center offers after-school programs, adult leagues,
clinics for youth and adults, daily play, and sanctioned tournaments.
The facility offers opportunity for USTA play.

The park includes a playground, two fenced and lighted baseball fields with
associated facilities, two lighted outdoor basketball courts, swimming pool,
wading pool, bath house, multi-purpose community center, three picnic shelters,
and a multi-purpose practice field.
