Since November 11, traditionally observed as Veterans' Day, falls on a Saturday this year, the City of Meridian will observe Veterans' Day on Monday, November 13, as recommended by the secretary of state. City Hall will be closed that day. Essential services such as police and fire protection and water and sewage treatment will, as always, be completely operational.

The annual Veterans' Day Parade and other events marking our nation's salute to all who have served in the military will be on Saturday, November 11.
