Mississippi State University Student Team Exhibits Their Vehicle in Meridian after Winning National Vehicle Design Competition

 

 

What:               Mississippi State University will be at the MSU Riley Center on July 13 to exhibit their award-winning vehicle. The team took home first place overall for their vehicle in June.

Mississippi State University is one of only 17 universities in North America to compete in Year 3 of the Challenge X competition, a unique program uniting academia, government and industry to participate in hands-on research and development with leading-edge automotive propulsion, fuels, materials, and emissions-control technologies to increase fuel economy and lower emissions in a Chevrolet Equinox.

 

 

When:                    July 13, 2007  10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

 

Where:             In front of the MSU Riley Center at 2200 5th Street, Meridian, MS 39301

Visuals:            The vehicle built by the team will be on display, and team members will be present to answer questions, take visitors on rides, etc.
