Mission Statement

The Meridian Fire Department will protect lives and property. We will educate the public in ways to prevent fires, injuries and hazardous situations. We will plan, train and prepare for any possible emergencies, natural or man made. We will respond to aid the citizens of our community in their time of need & provide the best possible assistance available in a timely manner. We will do this in the most cost effective manner with maximum utilization of available resources, never sacrificing the safety of our members.
