Thermal Imaging Camera
Uses thermal imaging technique to locate objects of different temps, such as victims in smoke filled room or smoldering fires inside walls.
In the past firefighters had to tear down walls to see if fire had traveled up through the walls into the attic. With the use of these cameras that is no longer necessary.
These cameras are also electronically linked to a television monitor in the command vehicle. |
