The Department Head for Finance and Records serves the City as Chief Financial Officer and City Clerk. The Finance and Records Department consists of five divisions: Administration, Collections, Business Affairs, Information Systems, and Utility Billing.

For the 15th consecutive year, the Finance and Records Department was awarded the prestigious Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
