Meridian residents and property owners are invited to attend the public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2006 budget and will be allowed to speak for a reasonable amount of time before any action is taken by the Meridian City Council.
The proposed budget contains no increase in tax millage, so ad valorem or property taxes would remain at the current rate. The FY 2005 budget includes revenues projected to be $80,789,550. The proposed FY 2006 budget anticipates total revenues of $77,930,600.
